Dental Veneers

Dental veneers are a simple solution for people looking to improve the appearance of their smile. They are a popular cosmetic treatment because of their customizable appearance, giving you the smile of your dreams.

Treat Yourself to a Beautiful New Smile

Dental veneers are thin shells placed on the teeth’ front surface to conceal imperfections and create a straight and even appearance. If you have crowding issues, chipped teeth, worn-down teeth, or areas of staining, dental veneers could be a great solution for you! Veneers are customizable, allowing adjustments to be made to the shade and shape to give you your dream smile. They are durable and, with proper care, can last for many years before needing replacement or repairs.

Before placing your veneers, we may need to remove a small amount of tooth enamel to make room for them. We will then take an impression of your teeth to custom-build your veneers. Once they are ready, you will return to our office, and we will bond them to the front of your teeth. Any final adjustments will be made to create your new look.

  • How do dental veneers work?

Dental veneers are thin shells placed on teeth’ front surfaces. Depending on the style of veneers, the teeth may be prepped by removing a small amount of enamel. Once installed, the veneers can cover noticeable flaws and adjust teeth alignment and spacing. They are easy to apply, requiring teeth preparation and securing them in place with a strong dental adhesive.

  • What types of dental veneers are available?

There are two main types of dental veneers: porcelain veneers and composite veneers. Composite veneers are made in the dentist’s office using tooth-colored resin and are applied directly to the teeth. They are usually less expensive and quicker to apply than porcelain veneers, covering many cosmetic issues. Porcelain veneers, on the other hand, are custom-made from porcelain to fit your teeth. These are typically made in a laboratory and then applied to your teeth by the dentist. Porcelain veneers tend to last longer due to their more robust material, provide a more natural look, and can address more significant cosmetic issues such as very dark stained teeth or teeth that are incorrectly positioned.

  • How long do dental veneers last?

Our veneers are made of high-quality material designed to last. On average, most veneers last 10-15 years. However, your dental veneers can last more than 20 years with exceptional dental care. If your dental veneers need to be repaired or replaced, don’t hesitate to contact our office immediately so we can get you smiling again.
