Smile Makeover

As the name implies, smile makeovers refer to a significant or complete remaking of a patient's smile. Smile makeovers combine cosmetic dentistry with the science of restorative dentistry to improve the function, health, and beauty of the mouth.

What is a Smile Makeover?

A smile makeover combines two or more cosmetic dentistry techniques to transform your smile. Before developing a treatment plan, your provider takes several factors into account, including your skin tone, hair color, and what you like and don’t like about your smile.

  • How much does a smile makeover cost?

The cost of a smile makeover can vary based on your smile goals and the starting point. An average smile makeover would include alignment and professional whitening and perhaps a few crowns for damaged teeth. This cost would contrast a moderate full mouth reconstruction which can cost $15,000-$40,000 depending on the condition of the teeth and jaws, and the type and amount of procedures required.

Andrew Miller Family Dentistry offers many payment options so that the cost doesn’t seem so steep. We partner with CareCredit and other third-party financiers. We also offer a Dental Membership Plan that includes discounts on certain cosmetic dentistry procedures.

Who is a good candidate for a smile makeover?
Any patient who wishes to significantly change or improve the esthetics of their smile. From mild to moderate adjustments and whitenings to patients who have dental problems throughout their mouths, we want to help you build a smile you can feel confident in.

Extensive makeovers may take place for a number of conditions including:

    • Multiple missing teeth
    • Numerous teeth with large fillings that are failing or exhibiting decay
    • Cracked or broken teeth
    • Badly worn teeth due to bruxism (teeth grinding) or other habits
    • Some patients are born with certain medical conditions such as Ectodermal Dysplasia, Ameliogenesis, or Dentinogenesis Imperfecta. These conditions require extensive restoration of a patient’s teeth.
  • What does a full mouth reconstruction involve?

A full mouth reconstruction usually combines many treatments. These treatments can include:

    • Invisalign
    • Teeth Whitening
    • Dental crowns and bridges
    • Dental veneers
      And more

Many of these procedures will not only provide a smile makeover but improved chewing efficiency as well.
